The first edition of WordCamp Nijmegen will be held on September 1st and September 2nd, 2017. With ‘only’ 150 attendees (only 75 on Friday), WordCamp Nijmegen can be considered a rather small WordCamp. By choice, because we first wanted to see the interest of our local community in having our own WordCamp.
As a result, we’ll mostly be focussing on our local audience, which means that over half our presentations will be in Dutch, including the keynote presentation. Of course, we don’t forget about our friends from abroad. Which is why we’ll also offer a significant number of presentations in English.
Contributing to WordPress
The first day of WordCamp Nijmegen is focussed on contributing to WordPress. First-time or new contributors can team up with experienced contributors to learn all about contributing to WordPress. Don’t forget to bring your laptop, as you’ll need it. Want to join 74 others in contributing? Get your ticket today!
Sharing knowledge
The second day of WordCamp Nijmegen is focussed on sharing knowledge. Experienced WordPress users, developers, and marketers share their knowledge in a series of talks, divided over two tracks. A single keynote will be followed by 18 talks about various aspects of WordPress. We understand that you do not want to miss this, so get your ticket today!
Wait! Two tickets?
Yes. By having a separate ticket for the contributor day, we allow people to only join us in contributing to WordPress. Or, if you don’t want to contribute, this also allows you to attend just the ‘sharing knowledge’ day.
If you want to attend both days, you’ll have to have both tickets.
