Science can be sexy and should not just be presented as a list of boring results. Liesbeth founded The Online Scientist, a company that communicates research to the public by developing (WordPress) websites, infographics, presentations, and e-learning courses for Universities and research groups. We help communicate research to the public in a clear, exciting and interactive way. We make complex science easy to understand. Before my work in science, web and technology, I was a researcher at Harvard School of Public Health and VU University Amsterdam and published several scientific articles, mainly on (trans) fats and cardiovascular disease. I get excited about new technology, new ways to explain complex content, learning about content design/UI/UX, and making a positive difference in this world.
